Sacred Heart Family Room
RMHC INW Family Rooms address physical basic needs, especially for moms who have recently given birth; meeting emotional needs by providing an opportunity to step outside the hospital environment and into a space that feels more like a home; finally, by proving a place for families facing similar situations to arrive together and build a strong community.
About Sacred Heart
There are four sleeping rooms that are open to all pediatric patients and their families. Each room is equipped with a kitchenette fully stocked with snack and beverages, family lounge area, laudry services, and a play area for kids. These rooms allow families the simple comfort of being able to make a snack or wash a child’s favorite blankie all while being steps away from their child’s bedside. Families staying at the Ronald McDonald House either live 40 minutes or 40 miles outside of Spokane and an advantage of the Family Room, is that it is open to anyone who has a child in the hospital.

A Place to Rest and Regroup at the Hospital
When families walk into a Ronald McDonald Family Room, we want them to forget they’re in a hospital. Often steps away from a pediatric or intensive care unit, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms offer a place to rest and regroup right at the hospital, just moments away from their sick child.
