House Volunteer
Do you love to be active and in motion while you volunteer?
House volunteers support the Family Services Team by completing tasks that create a warm, hospitable and clean space.
Tasks include but are not limited to: light cleaning of kitchen and common spaces, restocking of linens and taking out trash.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Front Desk Volunteer
Be the first-impression friendly face of our House to families and guests.
Front Desk volunteers support the Family Service team by providing family focused customer service with a smile.
Tasks include but are not limited to: answering phones and guests’ questions, taking reservations, greeting guests, and giving House tours. They also pitch in wherever they can: cleaning up a spill in the kitchen, tidying the common areas of the House, or sorting donations – whatever it takes to keep the House running smoothly.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Hospitality Cart Volunteer
Be a friendly face for families within the hospital.
The Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart offers pediatric patients and their families snacks, toys, crafts and activities, toiletries, treats and more. The Cart serves patients and families of the Newborn ICU, Pediatric ICU, and Oncology Unit of Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital.
Tasks include but are not limited to: stocking the Cart in our Family Room and bringing a feeling of welcome and support directly to patient rooms. Our dedicated staff and volunteers make sure everyone they interact with feels the love and comfort of our mission, made possible by our community!
Specialty Service Volunteer
This role is designed for individuals who want to serve in a unique or skill-based way that supports the mission of RMHC INW. Whether you prefer working behind the scenes or engaging directly with families, this flexible position allows you to share your talents in a way that’s both meaningful to you and impactful for the families we serve.
Some roles focus on supporting the daily operations of the House, like yard work, pantry organization, or photography —while others enhance the guest experience through services such as massages, pet therapy, arts & crafts, story time, manicures, or haircuts.
No matter your skillset, there’s a place for you here.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities
Young hearts that want to give back are always welcome at our House!
Youth ages 10 and up are welcome to volunteer alongside a parent or guardian for select special projects at the House. If your family is interested in helping, please reach out Amanda Louise, our Volunteer & Community Outreach Manager, to learn more about current opportunities.
We also offer a variety of fun and meaningful offsite opportunities for youth to support RMHC families—from hosting donation drives to creating care kits. We’d love to help find the right fit for your young changemaker!
