Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House® of the Inland Northwest serves families who must travel far from home. The House is much more than a room
to stay in, it provides comfort, support and resources for
families with sick children just steps from the hospital.
The Ronald McDonald House keeps families close to their ill or injured children and the resources they need. Staying at the Ronald McDonald House increases the ability for families to spend more time with their child, interact with their clinical care team and participate in critical care decisions. The House provides families with emotional and physical comfort and support.
Over 60% of the families who stay with us had no idea that they would need our services just 24 hours prior to arriving. Approximately 65% of the families staying with us are here with a premature infant, 25% to receive specialized oncology treatment for their children, and 10% due to trauma or another illness. The average length of stay is approximately 22 days.
Families are able to stay at the Ronald McDonald House free of charge thanks to the generosity of our community.
