Similar Goals Lead to Collaboration

In spring 2019, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest will open a new Ronald McDonald House on Kootenai Health’s campus. This project is in collaboration with Community Cancer Fund, Kootenai Health and Katerra. This new House will provide eight family guest rooms for pediatric patient families receiving medical treatment in Coeur d’Alene. All of the services of a traditional Ronald McDonald House including lodging, laundry, meals and volunteer support will be available at this new House.

The goal of the organizations is the mutual desire to assist patients and have the best experience and outcomes. In addition, the new center will allow more families to be served. All collaborators are thankful for all involved in this project.

We are excited to see the finished project and welcome families in the spring!
