4 Generations of Ronald McDonald House Volunteers

What's better than fresh, homemade cookies? Fresh, homemade cookies baked by 4 generations of Ronald McDonald House Volunteers. For 30 years, the Lind Ladies have traveled to Spokane once a month to make dozens of cookies for our families. This month, Phyllis was joined by her daughter Debbie, her granddaughter and her 2 great-granddaughters. What a beautiful way to continue the tradition of service!

Cookies are not the only thing that is made in our kitchen. Our meal program welcomes groups and families to come in and prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Many of the families return to the Ronald McDonald house exhausted and drained, and having a meal prepared for them is a simple act that means the world to them. If you are interested in getting your family or organization involved, contact Nancy Markley at

A big thanks to the Lind Ladies and all the other families and groups that help the Ronald McDonald House. Every meal, no matter how small, helps provide the comfort and support that families need most when they are staying at the house.
