About Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest;
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest provides temporary lodging, comfort, and support for families with critically ill or injured children accessing medical services in Spokane. We also support efforts to improve children’s health.
RMHC programs keep families close to each other and the care they need through the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
Spokane's Ronald McDonald House serves families who must travel far from home. Much more than just a room to stay in, it provides comfort, support and resources for families with critically ill or injured children, just minutes away from the hospital. RMHC gives families the ability to spend more time with their children, to interact with their doctors, and to make important decisions about their child’s care.
Ronald McDonald House of Northern Idaho will open mid-2019, and will serve families receiving care at Kootenai Health.
Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide parents a place to recharge, just steps away from their child's bedside. Families grab a bite to eat, shower and get rest so they can be strong for their children. RMHC supports Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital as well as MultiCare Deaconess Hospital.
The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile units bring medical, dental and vision resources directly to underserved children in Central Washington.
Our organization is led by a 32-member Board of Directors, managed by 9 full-time and 16 part-time staff, and supported by the generous help of over 500 volunteers. RMHC of the Inland Northwest is funded through donations from around our region and the funds raised stay local to benefit families from the Inland Northwest. Over 85% of donations come from the generous support of individuals and families.
