About Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest provides temporary lodging, comfort, and support for families with children accessing medical services in the Inland Northwest, and supports related efforts to improve children’s health in our region.
RMHC of the Inland Northwest supports three programs, all designed to strengthen local families and promote children’s health. Ronald McDonald House Spokane provides a “home away from home” for families with children accessing medical treatment in Spokane. The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital provide a place for families to rest and regroup right at the hospital while their children receive treatment. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Program enables over 2,000 children in Central Washington to access basic medical and dental care each year.
Our organization is led by a 32-member Board of Directors, managed by 9 full-time and 16 part-time staff, and supported by the generous help of over 500 volunteers. RMHC of the Inland Northwest is funded through donations from around our region, with 100% of funds raised staying in Spokane to benefit families from the Inland Northest. Over 85% of donations come from the generous support of individuals and families.
